avalok.ai respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. avalok.ai does not host, store, or cache any videos or images. It only retrieves files that the source platforms already serve publicly, at the specific request of a user.
Because we do not store content, in most cases the fastest remedy is to contact the platform that actually hosts the file. That said, we take copyright seriously and will respond to valid notices concerning material accessible through our tool.
Filing a takedown notice
If you are a rights holder (or authorised to act for one) and believe content accessible through avalok.ai infringes your copyright, send a written notice to hello@avalok.ai that includes all of the following:
- your full name, address, phone number, and email;
- a clear identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
- the exact URL(s) or a description sufficient to locate the material in question;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on its behalf;
- your physical or electronic signature.
Our response
Upon receiving a valid, complete notice, we will act promptly to disable access, where technically applicable, and/or direct the request to the appropriate host. We may forward your notice (including your contact details) to relevant parties. Submitting false or bad-faith notices may expose you to liability.
Counter-notice
If you believe a takedown was made in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address with an explanation and your contact details.
Respect creators
